FLOUR- It's Where It's At
Here at Thriving Provisions, we use a high-quality specialty flour for our starter and bread. I've found over the years that flour makes all the difference. Our blend is a mixture of three flours- they are specifically portioned to provide texture, nutty flavor, lightness, digestive aid, color, and nutrients to our creations.
I had pick the flours- looking for local and organic when available.
Here, I am portioning them out right before a batch of delicious starter and sourdough bread. I store the flour is a clean airtight container.
